Meghan Kennedy, CEO

Ms. Kennedy comes to Epilepsy Education Everywhere with almost 28 years of experience of life with epilepsy. She has been proactive in the epilepsy community, most recently with the Los Angeles and San Diego chapters of the Epilepsy Foundation as well as with the Anita Kaufmann Foundation. As a former librarian, her research, managerial, public speaking and grant writing skills will be beneficial to the organization. Her passion to educate people about epilepsy stems back to her college years when she was first diagnosed. Ms. Kennedy is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Inland Empire Disabilities Collaborative, and in her spare time enjoys traveling, bicycling, cribbage, and ballroom dancing.

Carolyn Angus, Treasurer

Ms. Angus has over thirty years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, including many small businesses such as architects, contractors, bakeries, and real estate brokers. In 2008, she became a small business owner herself when she started Angus Accounting with which she is having a great time! She recently started her own jewelry business and has developed designs exclusively for the organization. She is looking forward to using her skills to benefit Epilepsy Education Everywhere.

Nicole Kinney, Secretary

As Director of the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center (IEWBC), Ms. Kinney provides business counseling, oversees daily operations, and manages outreach through the Corona Business Assistance Program. Since starting with IEWBC as a summer intern in 2004, she has provided over 1800 hours of one-on-one counseling and conducted more than 200 workshops. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, San Bernardino, and has over 9 years of small business management experience. In 2011, she and her husband founded Performance Promotional Products, a full-service embroidery, screen printing, and promotional products company.
